Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. A Little Giant of Moulin Rouge
Organised by: Hansol BBK · Made in View.
Co-organised by: Pan Art Connections · Arthemisia · Aurea Cultura i Art.
Toulouse-Lautrec, the emblematic painter of the late 19th century and forerunner of 20th-century posters, was the featured artist of an exhibition in South Korea consisting of more than 150 original works from the Paul and Anna Belinda Firos collection.
The exhibition features posters, lithographs, drawings, sketches, illustrations and a little-known watercolour. The works on display carry the viewer off to the bohemian nightlife of 19th-century Paris. The project also includes several audiovisuals on the artist’s life.
This is the first exhibition devoted exclusively to Toulouse-Lautrec in South Korea.
