The twenty-six works that make up the exhibition uphold the constants in Enric Ansesa’s conceptual and minimalist work. Here, the artist employs a language that is born out of total creative freedom, presenting an evolving process that lends great coherence to this group of works.

The colour black, an identifying feature of Ansesa’s painting to which the artist attaches deep meaning, continues to occupy the backdrop of his paintings, constituting a single plane where everything unfolds simultaneously. It is the space that contains the different elements: signs, calligraphy, lines, dots… Any reference to perspective disappears, to enable the artist to express his thought, to present his discourse. It is about an inner reality and its context, an idea, an emotion, an intimate space; and when viewers connect with Ansesa’s work, they are presented with a space for reflection and understanding, where they can come face to face with themselves and their own meaning of life.
